Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy duty trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify potential issues and recommend repairs.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues with vehicles and equipment.
  • Work with senior technicians to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in heavy duty truck maintenance and repair.
  • ASE certifications in areas such as brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and work in a fast-paced environment.
