Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various teams to transform hardware components into an integrated reliable product.
- Develop an understanding of materials by correlating their properties to performance and failures.
- Address failure mechanisms and suggest possible solutions.
- Get trained on different tools and support material durability studies.
- Develop standard operating protocols and coordinate the use of instruments.
Requirements
- Technical engineering degree in a related field (a bachelor's degree in physical science is preferred).
- Familiarity in detecting failures in consumer electronics.
- At least 2+ years of hands-on experience in imaging techniques.
- Proficient with 2D x-ray, x-ray tomography, and optical microscopy.
- Capable of collecting quality data and presenting interpretations focused on the outstanding issue.
- Use different imaging techniques to drive root-cause analysis.
