Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous Finance Operations Associate to enhance our financial team. This role is ideal for someone who excels in accuracy and has a passion for numbers.

Your contributions will be essential in maintaining the efficiency of our financial processes, directly impacting our organization's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Timely processing and verification of invoices and credit memos, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
  2. Executing 3 Way Match procedures to confirm the accuracy of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving reports.
  3. Addressing accounts payable inquiries and resolving discrepancies in a professional manner.
  4. Generating weekly and monthly financial reports, including aging summaries and outstanding invoice details.
  5. Conducting regular reconciliations of vendor statements and internal accounts.
  6. Supporting month-end closing activities and assisting during audits.
  7. Collaborating with various departments to streamline financial operations.
  8. Identifying opportunities for process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy in accounts payable functions.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
  • Expertise in 3 Way Match and reconciliation methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities to efficiently resolve discrepancies.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
