The Heavy Housekeeper/Floor Tech is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of hard surfaces and carpeted areas, including offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and other public areas. This role also involves collecting trash, recycling, and soiled linen, and ensuring the proper disposal of waste.
Responsibilities- Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions.
- Mix and use cleaning solutions safely and in accordance with safety precautions.
- Report equipment and cleaning product needs or malfunctions to the supervisor in a timely manner.
- Ensure established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Utilize leadership skills to accomplish responsibilities without supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
