Job Summary:

The EHS Manager at FPC of Savannah is responsible for driving EHS and risk management excellence at the site level, ensuring compliance with regulations and corporate standards. This role leads EHS and risk management programs, promotes a safe work culture, and implements strategies to mitigate risks, aligned with corporate EHS objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee EHS compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address EHS and security issues, fostering a culture of safety and responsibility.
  • Support safety regulatory compliance and update safety programs to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Manage environmental and safety reporting, site metrics, and trend analysis to inform EHS strategies.
  • Serve as the EHS liaison with regulatory agencies and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain plant safety systems, including SDS, PPE, LOTO, and first aid, to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with worker's compensation programs and injury management, providing support to employees and management.
  • Conduct safety orientations, audits, and site visits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in EHS, risk management, or a related field.
  • Expertise in OSHA/EPA regulations, risk assessment, and hazard mitigation.
  • Leadership, strategic planning, and strong technical EHS skills.
