Job DescriptionState Program Sales Leader

MVP Health Care is seeking a highly motivated and experienced State Program Sales Leader to join our team. As a key member of our sales and outreach team, you will be responsible for leading a diverse team of outreach representatives and individual product advisors in promoting our lines of business to individuals and community groups in the target market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of outreach representatives and individual product advisors in promoting our lines of business to individuals and community groups in the target market.
  • Supervise and mentor team members to ensure they meet their enrollment goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community-based organizations and provider partners to promote our lines of business.
  • Ensure compliance with NYSOH and MVP's guidelines at enrollment sites.
  • Provide regular reports to leadership on team performance and enrollment metrics.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with six years' work experience or H.S. Diploma or Equivalent; plus 8 years' work experience.
  • Three years of supervisory/leadership skills.
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with multiple audiences.
  • Self-motivated, organized problem solver with ability to inspire, lead, and work in a team-based environment.
  • Understanding of ethnic/cultural differences.
  • Familiarity with service area and sensitivity to Government Programs target market.
  • Access to reliable transportation is required.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in a Managed care retail setting.
  • NYSOH Marketplace facilitated enroller certification preferred (will need to be obtained within first 90 days of employment).
  • NY Health Insurance License preferred (will need to be obtained within first 90 days of employment).
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Bilingual ability desirable (Spanish preferred).
