Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the DMC Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan. As a member of our patient care services team, you will provide technical, multi-skilled direct and indirect patient care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with care team members to ensure consistency and quality of care
  • Perform a variety of basic patient care activities, including respiratory procedures, maintenance locomotion, and specimen collection
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as feeding, bathing, and toileting
  • Administer medications to patients per policy and procedure
  • Document patient information and interact with patients and family members
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Graduation from a school of practical nursing
  • Completion of NAPNES course
  • Licensed as a practical nurse by the state of Michigan
