Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Community Marketing Specialist to join our team at Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Monroe in southern Louisiana. This role would cover the Monroe/Northeast Louisiana territory and Southeast Arkansas.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Healthcare Marketing or a related field, with a focus on community engagement and outreach.

Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Monroe is a 42-bed acute care facility providing specialized care for adults with mental health and behavioral health needs. Our hospital offers a wide range of services, including inpatient and outpatient care, as well as various specialized programs.

About the Role

The Community Marketing Specialist is responsible for increasing patient count by educating the surrounding community, businesses, and healthcare professionals about our facility. This includes developing marketing strategies and campaigns as needed.

This role involves collecting information from referring professionals or facilities, meeting with potential patients, and conducting pre-admission screenings as a liaison between the source and hospital to determine admission eligibility.

The specialist will assist with care alternatives for patients and families and communicate results of the prescreening process and recommendations to the patient/family and referral source according to company policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes a growth marketing strategy
  • Distributes promotional materials and edits/proofs all campaign-related content
  • Documents and reports campaign success
  • Conducts pre-admission screenings

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing preferred or Business Development
  • At least two years' experience in Sales or Development in the healthcare industry
  • Familiarity with healthcare marketing and a focus on community engagement

Earn a Competitive Salary

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits. The estimated salary range is based on national averages for this role in southern Louisiana and surrounding areas.
