We are seeking a skilled Appliance Installation and Repair Technician to join our team at Best Buy. As a key member of our services group, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise in the installation and repair of home appliances.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair complex appliance issues in customers' homes
  • Provide expert advice on products and services to customers
  • Manage routes, part orders, and returns to optimize efficiency and minimize costs
  • Perform triage, manage client expectations, and maintain accurate work orders
  • Offer alternative solutions to customers when repairs are not feasible
  • Collaborate with team members to manage inventory and vehicle maintenance
  • Provide feedback and training opportunities to team members

Requirements

  • 6 months of experience delivering, installing, or repairing consumer electronic products
  • 1 year of experience in a customer service or in-home services environment
  • 1 year of experience in the electronics industry
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Current, valid driver's license
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Have and maintain a driving record that meets Best Buy safety standards
  • Able to lift 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation and up to 150 pounds with help

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer service experience, including resolution of complex issues
