Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Central Supply Clerk/Driver to join our team at Elderwood. This role will be responsible for managing medical equipment and supplies, as well as transporting patients and staff members safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain inventory of medical equipment and supplies, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that orders are placed in a timely manner.
  • Transport patients and staff members safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of medical equipment and supplies, as well as the transportation of patients and staff members.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure that they are in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, transportation, and other relevant data.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of experience in a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with medical equipment and supplies.
  • Knowledge of local roadways and directions.
  • Ability to use computers and software applications, such as Microsoft Office.
