Key Responsibilities:

  • Deputize for the Procurement Manager when necessary
  • Commercial management of key site agreements
  • Network with the global INEOS procurement organization to maximize volume leverage
  • Ensure security of supply for goods and services are maintained safely and on schedule
  • Provide expert advice on procurement-related risks to INEOS Acetyls Texas City procurement customers
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure best commercial terms
  • Identify and recommend new suppliers to the business

Requirements:

  • MCIPS qualified or equivalent chartered membership or QS qualifications
  • Previous procurement experience in a large complex manufacturing environment
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel, Word, SAP, and database analysis
  • Identification of Total Cost of Ownership
  • Deep understanding of cost drivers in contracts
  • Expert negotiation skills and techniques
  • Sound understanding of company policies, site safety standards, and legislation

Performance Indicators:

  • Ensure goods and services are delivered as per specification in a timely manner
  • Delivery of financial cost avoidance and sustainable cost savings
  • Identification of supply risks and effective mitigation
  • Contributing to gaining a forward-looking plan regarding the needs of the Manufacturing team
