About the Role:
The Sales and Marketing Department is responsible for promoting, selling, and securing business for the hotel. The primary objective of the team is to maximize hotel occupancy. The Sales & Marketing Coordinator plays a crucial role in providing administrative assistance to the Sales & Marketing team.

This position involves following up on sales inquiries, coordinating amenity arrangements, organizing familiarization trips, conducting site inspections, confirming reservations, and supporting the Director of Sales and Sales Managers with various administrative tasks.

Additionally, the Sales Coordinator generates a variety of reports and maintains multiple informational databases.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with all sales office operations, including responding to general inquiries and client requests.
• Maintain regular communication with guests, clients, and staff.
• Support clients in the absence of Sales Managers.
• Coordinate and assist with customer events.
• Organize sales appointments and prepare for site visits, stepping in for Sales Managers as needed.

• Handle all accounting responsibilities for Managers in line with established guidelines, including completing expense reports.

• Provide primary telephone coverage for the sales and catering office.
Qualifications:
• Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills with clients and all management levels.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Previous experience in sales or event coordination is advantageous.

Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Publisher is required. Familiarity with Delphi and Opera is highly preferred.
• Attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Sales Administrative or general Administrative role is required.
• A degree in Hospitality Management is preferred but not mandatory with relevant experience.
