Research Compliance Coordinator

Department:

The Research Compliance Coordinator will assist in ensuring that research protocols adhere to university, state, and federal regulations across various research teams managed by the Clinical Trials Office (CTO). Responsibilities include supporting regulatory functions related to clinical research activities, preparing protocol submissions to Institutional Review Boards (IRBs), and providing updates on submission statuses. The coordinator will also assist in the preparation of essential regulatory documents, distribute approved materials, communicate information to clinical research personnel, and aid in data entry tasks, including the collection, entry, and maintenance of data and documents within the OnCore electronic database. Additional duties include assisting with monitoring visits, addressing regulatory concerns, and creating and maintaining regulatory files.

Minimum Required Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, health sciences, or life sciences, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Experience in a clinical research setting is preferred. Proficiency in computer skills is necessary, with knowledge of database software applications being advantageous.
