Customer Care Specialist II Job Description

The Customer Care Specialist II will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences by partnering with various stakeholders to resolve issues and provide timely support. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide responsive and timely support to customers through various channels, including phone, email, and chat.
  • Collaborate with escalation partners to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Document and monitor exceptions to standard processes to create best practices.
  • Work closely with dealers and other departments to educate them about Manheim and ancillary partners.
  • Identify, assess, and resolve customer issues, determining who needs communication on these issues.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.
  • OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience;
  • OR 5 years' experience in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Call center and/or client interfacing experience.
  • Travel - infrequent, but must have flexibility.
  • Schedule - must have flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays as required.
  • Multi-task and prioritize required. Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks at a time.
  • Understand foundational levels of computers and technology; internet, email.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, particularly in a phone or email context.
  • Experience working in a contact center metrics driven environment.
  • Strong communication skills and basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to operate under tight pressure.
  • Experience working in the automotive industry preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:

The hourly base pay rate is $28.65/hour. The position may be eligible for additional compensation, including commission and/or an incentive program. Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
