Key Responsibilities

  • Timely communication with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals regarding significant changes in resident condition
  • Completion of all applicable resident assessments and documentation
  • Administration of medications while adhering to the 5 Rights
  • Performance of wound care and assessments as needed
  • Assistance with answering call lights and responding to resident needs
  • Monitoring of residents for changes in condition and reporting any concerns to the Director of Nursing and Administrator
  • Leadership on the floor, assessing and directing situations as needed
  • Reporting of any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator
  • Maintenance of accurate resident records with thorough and accurate charting
  • Performance of other duties as requested by management

Requirements

  • Two-year degree in nursing required; four-year degree in nursing preferred
  • Must hold and maintain a current Wisconsin Registered Nursing license
  • Current CPR/BLS certification required
  • 1+ years of related work experience preferred
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required

Work Schedule

Full-time, day shift position with every other weekend and holiday rotation. The schedule includes four 9-hour shifts in week 1 and five 8-hour shifts in week 2.

State License Details

Must be currently active and in good standing.

Minimum Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in a related field
  • 36 minimum guaranteed hours per week
