Job SummaryThe Nursing Home Registered Nurse position is responsible for assisting with day-to-day nursing activities, ensuring the highest level of care and comfort for our residents. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional healthcare.
Key Responsibilities- Timely communication with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals regarding significant changes in resident condition
- Completion of all applicable resident assessments
- Administration of medications while following the 5 Rights
- Performance of wound care and assessments as needed
- Assistance with answering call lights and monitoring residents for changes in condition
- Leadership on the floor, assessing and directing situations as needed
- Reporting of any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator
- Maintenance of accurate resident records with thorough and accurate charting
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A two-year degree in nursing, with a four-year degree preferred
- A current Wisconsin Registered Nursing license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- At least one year of related work experience, with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
This is a full-time, night shift position, working 10 shifts per week from 10:00pm to 6:30am, with every other weekend. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
