Operations Manager

MANN+HUMMEL is seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating all activities within our production plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production: Establish and monitor the operating budget, optimize resources, and allocate labor and capital to maximize productivity and quality.
  • Production Quality: Ensure quality control throughout the supply chain, define and approve quality procedures, and develop local quality assurance strategies.
  • Logistics: Manage physical logistics activities, including internal material flow within the plant.
  • Technical Service: Ensure proper maintenance of machines and technical equipment, translate customer specifications into manufacturing processes, and develop equipment to meet customer specifications.
  • Leadership: Organize, staff, and direct the area of responsibility, guide and develop direct reports, and identify training needs.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Engineering or relevant field of technical or business education.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, problem-solving, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 requirements.
