Assistant Store Manager

At Acima, we're empowering individuals and families by providing accessible Lease-To-Own solutions that enhance their quality of life. As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll play a crucial role in assisting the Store Manager in account management and sales activities, while delivering exceptional customer service experiences.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with Acima retail partners to process credit turn-down applications and web orders, converting them into Acima credit customers. You'll also review lease applications, promote and sell Acima's leasing benefits, and drive conversions.
This is a full-time position, with a competitive hourly rate of $16.50-$17.50, plus potential bonuses based on performance. You'll work in one of our retail partner store locations, with a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive customer growth through various channels
- Listen, identify, and fulfill customer needs in a timely manner
- Educate customers on Lease-To-Own terms, payments, benefits, and the application process
- Closing the sales cycle by converting applications
- Work collaboratively with Acima partner stores in all operations aspects
- Report to and communicate with the Store Manager regarding store and coworker activities and performance
Customer Service:
- Establish partnerships with retail store personnel to generate referrals and educate customers on the Lease-To-Own process
- Promptly address and resolve customer issues and complaints to maintain consistent customer satisfaction and friendly service
- Cultivate a positive work environment to enhance coworker retention and minimize turnover and issues
Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
- Familiarity with rental or leasing industry practices is a plus
- Organized, with time-management skills and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Consistent in-person attendance
