Behavioral Health Counselor Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Counselor to join our team at Rockbridge Area Health Center in Lexington, VA.

The ideal candidate will have direct experience in substance use disorder treatment and be able to meet RAHC privileging requirements as required by Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA).

The role involves providing evidence-based counseling services for patients, including patient screening, assessment, treatment planning, on-going counseling, and crisis intervention.

The successful candidate will also participate in staff development and continuing education activities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
