**Job Summary:**

The School Intervention Specialist provides direct implementation of behavioral interventions, therapeutic activities, psychoeducational treatment, and care coordination duties for children and adolescents referred by school administration. This role requires a strong understanding of human behavior and development, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavioral interventions and therapeutic activities for children and adolescents
  • Provide psychoeducational treatment and care coordination duties
  • Consult with school administration and other stakeholders
  • Document case information and maintain accurate records

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in human services related field plus one year of clinical experience working with children/adolescents
  • Registration with the Virginia Department of Health Professions as Qualified Mental Health Professional-Child (QMHP-C) or Qualified Mental Health Professional Trainee (QMHP Trainee)
  • Valid VA driver's license and safe driving record
