Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients utilizing interviews and standardized assessments.
  • Design and execute individualized treatment plans informed by assessment findings.
  • Administer therapeutic interventions and adjust programs to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Ensure timely completion of all required documentation and reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, team members, and referral sources.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
  • Keep treatment areas and equipment well-maintained and safe for use.
  • Provide accurate billing details and adhere to insurance protocols.
  • Educate and support individuals experiencing speech and language challenges.
  • Conduct modified barium swallow studies and analyze the results.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Experience in speech-language pathology with diverse patient populations.
  • Education: Master's degree in speech-language pathology or equivalent qualification.
  • Licenses/Certifications: New York State licensure or limited license required; ASHA certification is preferred.
  • Other: BLS Certification is mandatory.
