Speech Language Pathologist or Speech Language Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist or Speech Language Technician to join our team at the Iron County School District in Cedar City, UT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic procedures for speech and hearing evaluations to determine the type of problem and extent of involvement.
  • Develop and implement remediation plans to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Provide speech, language, and hearing services for children with communicative disorders.
  • Collect, interpret, and share progress data with parents, students, and district stakeholders.
  • Engage families in planning, decision-making, and program implementation.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement instructional strategies for students with communicative disorders.
  • Develop and implement a minimal hearing testing program for all pupils.
  • Participate in monthly SLP meetings and other professional growth activities.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
  • Utah state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist or Speech Language Technician.
  • Experience working with children with communicative disorders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families.
