You will partner with members across internal and external teams to help meet their data needs, including reporting metrics, supporting partners in answering questions, and developing data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Create reporting dashboards and monthly financial reports using SQL and data tools such as Mode and Looker to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Data Pipeline Development: Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to support analytics and business intelligence needs, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, answer business questions, and develop data-driven solutions that meet business needs.
  • Data Quality and Troubleshooting: Monitor and ensure data quality within the data warehouse, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed to maintain data accuracy and reliability.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Develop reports, presentations, and data models to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring effective communication of complex data insights.
Requirements
  • Advanced SQL and Data Modeling Skills: Advanced SQL and data modeling skills, with experience in Python a plus.
  • Experience in Data Analysis: 3-6 years in data analysis, data science, or related fields, with experience in credit card industry a plus.
  • Data Warehouse and Visualization Tools: Experience with data warehouse and visualization tools, such as Redshift, Snowflake, Looker, Tableau, Micro-strategy, etc.
  • Quantitative Background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant quantitative/STEM field such as Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or Mathematics.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex data sets and identify patterns and trends.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Independence and Project Management: Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: $130,000 - $180,000 a year, with equity and benefits.
  • Hybrid Work Arrangement: This role has a hybrid work arrangement, with the data analyst coming into the office three times a week.
