Job Title: Flow Cytometry Coordinator/Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Flow Cytometry Coordinator/Supervisor to manage and oversee the setup of a new Flow Cytometry department. The ideal candidate will have experience in cell counting, cell sorting, and determining cell characteristics and function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and complex tests and analyses according to established procedures in the designated technical department.
  • Perform cell suspensions and cell counts on all specimens designated for immunophenotyping.
  • Stain aliquots of cell suspensions with designated panels of fluorescent antibodies for immunophenotyping.
  • Operate flow cytometer instruments and acquire the data necessary for all immunophenotyping tests provided by the Flow Cytometry Laboratory.
  • Stain DNA cell suspensions and acquire data on the flow cytometer for DNA analysis.
  • Run daily standard checks for instrument alignment and reagent QC on the flow cytometers.

Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree
  • MT/MLS(ASCP) or MLT(ASCP) certification
  • Florida Supervisor license
  • Two (2) years of experience
