Position Summary:
The Warehouse Material Specialist is responsible for providing essential raw materials and supplies as required by production schedules. This role involves picking orders, loading and unloading trucks, shipping products, and receiving items using a forklift.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute all tasks and operations safely, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies at all times.
- Operate powered industrial trucks to efficiently move materials and accurately fulfill customer orders or receive vendor shipments - 80% of the time.
- Manually load or unload materials onto or off pallets or lifting devices, following safety and quality stacking protocols - 20% of the time.
- Maintain precise inventory records and manage inventory transactions continuously.
- Accurately receive materials into the Litehouse facilities and operating systems on an ongoing basis.
- Commit to scheduled shifts and attendance requirements consistently.
- Adhere to Food Safety policies and promptly report any food safety or quality issues to supervisors.
- Utilize a hand-held scanner for data collection to ensure inventory accuracy and traceability.
- Achieve and maintain certification for operating industrial powered equipment relevant to this role.
- Keep work areas clean and participate in facility housekeeping activities regularly.
- Be available for overtime and weekend work as needed.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Supervisory Role:
- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED is strongly preferred.
Certifications: None required.
Experience: Forklift operation experience is preferred.
Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on maintaining accurate documentation.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and professionally.
Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to build and maintain effective working relationships.
Travel Requirements:
- No travel required.
Physical Requirements:
Job involves sitting (60%), walking (30%), and standing (10%).
Must possess near acuity and ordinary speech capabilities.
Hearing abilities for ordinary conversation are necessary.
Manual Dexterity: Proficient use of computer keyboard.
Lifting Requirements: Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds.
Use of Extremities: Frequent standing for extended periods, using hands for various tasks, and reaching with arms.
Occasional climbing, balancing, talking, hearing, tasting, or smelling may be required.
