We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installation Specialist to join our team at Regional Mechanical Services (RMS), LLC. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing HVAC equipment to meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Installation and Repair: Assemble, install, and repair HVAC equipment, including piping, control wiring, thermostats, motors, and control boards, in accordance with specifications and manufacturer's recommendations.
- Pre-Installation Preparation: Review blueprints, submittals, building codes, and specifications to determine work details and procedures.
- Material Management: Order, receive, and return materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
- Team Leadership: Direct helpers engaged in pipe cutting, preassembly, and installation of HVAC systems or components.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in HVAC installations.
- Skills: Understanding of drain and lineset connection requirements, ability to cut, bend, or thread pipe for gas, air, or water lines, and proficiency in using hand or power tools.
- Physical Demands: Ability to spend time bending or twisting the body, keeping or regaining balance, making repetitive motions, standing, walking, and climbing.
This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and extreme temperatures. The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces is also required.
