Key Responsibilities
  • Perform phlebotomy procedures accurately and efficiently, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Recognize and respond to abnormal or unexpected situations, ensuring the integrity of patient samples.
  • Transport specimens to the laboratory in a timely manner, maintaining accurate documentation and chain of custody.
  • Provide excellent customer service, interacting professionally with patients, medical staff, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and facilities, adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training programs to enhance technical and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred.
