Job Overview

Centurion Health is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Worker/Technician to join our team at State Correctional Institution-Waymart in Pennsylvania.

This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $16.50-$18 based on experience.

The successful candidate will provide routine supervision of offenders and deliver informal education in daily living and routine activities.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings
  • Implement interventions as assigned
  • Document and inform staff of significant changes in offenders' functioning
  • Assist in facilitating group therapeutic sessions

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • Current driver's license
  • Preferred: training, experience, or certification as a nurse's aide, medical technician, EMT, or activities technician
  • Prior experience in mental health, drug/alcohol rehabilitation, or intellectual disability services
  • Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance

Shift Availability: full-time, evening & night shift
