Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate FLEX Counselor to join our team at Mental Health Recovery Services (MHRS). As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in promoting a model of treatment informed by the principles of person-centered planning, trauma-informed and strength-based service provision, and the belief in, and support for, resiliency, hope and recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a supportive and homelike environment for program participants
  • Assist participants in making plans to meet their specific recovery goals
  • Restore and teach daily living skills
  • Engage participants in meaningful activities in the house and community
  • Write daily shift notes and other communications
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • CPR and 1st Aid Certifications
  • MAP Certification
  • Valid drivers license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • One year experience working as a Residential Counselor
  • Basic computer and office skills
