Position Overview

As a Senior Accountant and Food & Beverage Specialist at AccorHotels, you will play a pivotal role in our financial operations. Your expertise in accounting and analytical skills will be essential in guiding our finance team and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting. You will collaborate closely with the Assistant Director of Finance, overseeing Accounts Payable and conducting in-depth analysis of Food & Beverage data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional service with professionalism and friendliness.
  • Manage daily accounting operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support the Assistant Director of Finance in educating finance team members on company policies and procedures.
  • Analyze departmental financial performance, including variance analysis, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Assist in interpreting financial data and communicating insights to operational teams.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of balance sheet accounts and prepare monthly performance reports.
  • Develop and implement benchmarking techniques to enhance revenue and improve productivity.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations affecting financial operations.
  • Safeguard all financial documents and contracts.
  • Regularly monitor internal control systems and ensure compliance with audit guidelines.
  • Oversee cash management processes, including bank reconciliations and cash handling.
  • Assist in month-end closing processes and prepare journal entries.
  • Support all departments in managing invoices and expense reports.
  • Monitor food and beverage costs and audit data entry in related systems.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on inventory control and Food & Beverage operations.
  • Collaborate with various departments for monthly inventory counts.
  • Participate in talent management initiatives, including recruitment and training.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Leadership experience in accounting practices and principles.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial reporting.
  • Degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with financial software and reporting tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Team-oriented with a focus on guest satisfaction.
