About the Role:

  • Design and build complex test equipment for our Satellite team.
  • Collaborate with our flight engineering team to develop test requirements.
  • Perform advanced structural and vibration analysis using FEM and hand calculations.
  • Develop 3D CAD models for piece parts and assemblies.
  • Design and implement software applications for data acquisition and control systems.
  • Oversee the design and fabrication of test equipment and facilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience in design, engineering analysis, and build roles in industry or university project teams.
  • Preferred Skills and Experience:
    • Expertise in design, build, and test of complex hydraulic, thermal, structural, or electromechanical systems.
    • Advanced hands-on experience with testing and data acquisition.
    • Proficiency in Siemens NX or equivalent 3D modeling software.
    • Strong programming skills.
    • Solid understanding of common manufacturing processes and machines.

Salary: $160,000 - $220,000 per year
