Production Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Machinist 1st Shift to join our team at Parker Hannifin Corporation Parker Aerospace Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various production machines, ensuring high-quality parts are produced efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain production machines, including cutting, shaping, deburring, forming, drilling, and reaming parts.
- Perform minor machine adjustments and report any issues for correction.
- Align and fasten parts using standard fixtures and established methods.
- Adjust feeds, speeds, and depth of cut to machine quality parts, per documentation.
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, tool marks, or other irregularities from machined parts.
- Inspect machined parts for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments, gages, and comparators.
- Regularly clean and maintain equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Participate in lean initiatives to identify and implement process improvements.
- 2+ years of general or related machining experience.
- Ability to read and follow blueprints, specifications, and verbal instructions.
- General working knowledge of machine shop mathematics, including trigonometry calculations.
- Ability to apply lean initiatives.
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication.
- Ability to use a computer and relevant software.
- Walk, sit, stand for extended periods of time.
- Demonstrate manual dexterity and use of hands to operate machinery.
- Demonstrate vision ability to look up close at items.
- Regular attendance on-site, and ability to work cooperatively and professionally with others.
- May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
