Position Summary:
The HVAC Service Technician will operate either autonomously or collaboratively within a team, tasked with the installation, startup, troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing of commercial HVACR equipment, systems, and units.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage existing accounts by evaluating work orders, planning daily travel itineraries, addressing complaints, conducting tests, and resolving issues.
• Establish service by assessing system requirements, procuring necessary components and parts, executing installations, and performing acceptance tests.
• Foster customer relationships by addressing complaints, identifying solutions, proposing enhanced methods and techniques, and recommending system improvements.
• Ensure personal equipment is operational by adhering to operating instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating repairs.
• Document service and installation activities by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Uphold customer confidentiality by safeguarding service information.
• Enhance job knowledge through participation in educational opportunities and reviewing professional literature.
• Achieve operational and organizational objectives by fulfilling related results as necessary.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in a service vehicle performing service work for an HVAC contractor, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Experience with VRF systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with BAS/DDC Controls is desirable.
• Possession of personal tools is required.
• Reliability and exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening, including a criminal background check and drug screening.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience is required.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
