Job Description:

Role Overview:

The Undergraduate Human Resources (HR) Solutions Intern role is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience for students pursuing a degree in human resources or a related field. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR processes, develop valuable skills, and contribute to the success of 3M's HR Solutions organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with HR teams to address business concerns through individual and team-oriented projects
  • Participate in initial and ongoing training opportunities, including informational interviews, social events, and presentations
  • Work on projects that represent real challenges faced by 3M and mirror the work of full-time HR team members
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Total Rewards, and HR Risk Management to lead projects

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Completed a minimum of sophomore year (4 semesters) by the start of the internship
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
  • Demonstrate high ethical standards and leadership abilities
  • Demonstrate interpersonal, communication, and team skills
