Job Summary
We are seeking an Executive Chef to join our team at Vallarta Supermarkets' Modesto store. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality menu items, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities
As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for:
  • Preparing and cooking all menu items, including soups, salsas, mole, rice, beans, and other traditional dishes.
  • Ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and responding to their needs.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of cooking experience, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant or supermarket environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • A friendly, courteous attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic understanding of English language.

Salary and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary range of $18.36-$18.92 per hour, plus benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
