Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders, utilizing your clinical expertise and judgment.
- Collaborate with patients and their caregivers to create personalized home exercise programs, promoting optimal outcomes and patient engagement.
- Act as a liaison between various healthcare providers and disciplines, ensuring seamless coordination of care and effective communication.
- Meet weekly patient visit requirements and maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient progress and chart updates.
- Participate in regular meetings with agency personnel to stay informed about expectations, standards, and best practices in delivering exceptional patient care.
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, codes of ethics, and agency policies, ensuring compliance and maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
- A current, active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
- An innovative spirit, complemented by a proven track record of reliability and adaptability.
- Flexibility to adjust priorities and resources as needed, in response to the evolving needs of the business.
- Proficiency in using common workplace technology, including laptops, email, and web browsers.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Assistant.
- Previous experience in a home-health setting, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this environment.
