Job Title: Radiation Therapy Team Lead

Overview:

The Radiation Therapy Team Lead plays a pivotal role in the Cancer Center, overseeing radiation therapist clinical duties and supervisory responsibilities. This position involves charge entry review, decision-making, planning, organizing, and evaluating to achieve established goals and objectives.

This leader also interacts with simulation therapists, radiation therapists, and radiation therapy students to deliver high-quality treatments, while maintaining a safe patient environment driven by the principles of safety and respect.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Above degree or graduate from an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology Program (4-year/Bachelor's Degree preferred)
  • Experience: Five years related experience as a staff radiation therapist, with three years in a chief therapist managerial role
  • Licensure/Certification: Current ARRT and VA license in Radiation Therapy required
  • Additional Skills: Adaptability, ability to train and supervise others, excellent communication and facilitation skills, multi-tasking, and ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
