Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the Dean's Office annual budget, ensuring alignment with university goals and objectives
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making and strategic planning
  • Collaborate with departmental business partners and SOM leadership to identify and address financial challenges and opportunities
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, including the Dean's Office Business Units, Medical Education, Centers & Institutions, and other university departments
  • Identify and propose process improvements and participate in reporting enhancements
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of finance policies, practices, and systems
  • Ability to identify, collect, and analyze information from multiple sources
  • Advanced ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
  • Proficiency in multiple spreadsheet and database software tools
  • Advanced interpersonal skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or CPA (inactive) preferred
