Job Summary:

As an Accounting Clerk at Aston Carter, you will be responsible for processing accounts payable transactions, obtaining approvals for miscellaneous invoices, and maintaining the AP email box. You will also be responsible for filing AP invoices, processing supplier invoices, and preparing check runs. Additionally, you will perform filing and maintenance of AP and PR records, enter non-check AP payments into the system, and process customer invoices and statements.

About the Role:

This is a 2-month contract position, working 100% on-site in Frederick, MD. You will work Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of accounting experience, solid experience and understanding of AP and AR, and strong attention to detail. You will also need to have 3-way matching experience in accounts payable.
