Job Title: Loan Documentation Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:

The Loan Documentation Imaging Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining the bank's loan documentation portfolio by performing a variety of loan documentation and quality control functions. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scanning all collateral, credit, and adverse action loan documentation for the bank, including prepping and scanning loan documents.
  • Ensuring loan documents are scanned to the correct Document Type Group.
  • Filing all new and trailing collateral documents into the vault.
  • Creating new collateral files and labels.
  • Responding to and resolving internal and external customer inquiries and requests.
  • Researching missing loan document requests from various departments and scanning them into the bank's document imaging software.
  • Assisting with testing functions within the document imaging software and participating in other testing in the document imaging software's test environment.
  • Cross-training to assist supervisors and serving as a backup to other department staff.
  • Ordering supplies for the Loan Operations Department.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of loan documentation paperwork and review basics.
  • Basic level knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) with the ability to learn other job-specific software applications.
  • Knowledge of the operation of office equipment and peripherals, and ability to learn new operations quickly.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to distill and convey information in a compelling manner.
  • Skill in adopting technological advancements and facilitating their integration into current and future responsibilities.
  • Skill in completing work tasks with thoroughness, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Ability to take personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and achieve results with little oversight.
  • Ability to anticipate, monitor, and meet the needs of customers (internal and external) and respond in an appropriate manner.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively, and have positive relationships with customers (internal and external).
  • Possesses the drive to work towards a standard of excellence.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of one (1) year banking experience preferred.
  • Fiserv and Nautilus experience preferred.

Working Conditions:

The work environment is typically indoors and in an office setting. The noise level within the work environment is typically moderate.
