This includes writing and updating manuals, instructions, policies, and technical orders that guide how to use and protect computer systems and networks in support of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity documentation, including manuals, instructions, policies, and technical orders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and meets the needs of our organization.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices and industry standards for cybersecurity documentation.
- Write and edit technical content, including user guides, technical notes, and other documentation.
- Develop and implement processes for reviewing and updating documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in writing and working with cybersecurity documentation, including CONUPS, JCIDS, and USG policies and USG Cyberspace operations.
- TS/SCI or TS with SCI eligibility.
- Experience with defensive cyber operations (DCO) or offensive cyber operations (OCO).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong collaboration and communication skills.
- E7 or above (non-commissioned officers; master sergeant; sr chief; lieutenant; master chief) and above.
- CONOPS understanding, with the ability to navigate and create comprehensive cybersecurity documentation.
- Experience working with NCDOC, NetWarComm, AFCyber, Staff Commands, NAVI4, and other related organizations.
