About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Manager to join our team at Hyster-Yale Materials Handling. As a Data Governance Manager, you will be responsible for leading the creation and management of our data governance program, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and security of our data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Data Governance Council and develop a comprehensive data governance strategy
  • Build and maintain relationships with business leaders to ensure data ownership and governance
  • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures
  • Assess and improve data quality and integrity
  • Lead the Master Data Management (MDM) program and develop policies for MDM
  • Develop and implement information stewardship practices
  • Align data quality with business objectives and identify high-value use cases
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related field
  • 7+ years of data management and data governance experience
  • 2+ years of experience leading teams
  • Knowledge of data modeling and architecture principles and techniques
  • Proven success with systems, data, and innovative digital endeavors
