Job Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of facility equipment and systems, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and control systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend lifespan.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality and competitive pricing.
  • Verify accuracy of deliveries and maintain inventory control.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, including proper storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform periodic checks of tool and instrument inventory.
  • Monitor quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent, with two years of trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration, and HVAC.
  • Certification as a Universal Technician for CFC's (or within 90 days of employment).
  • Working knowledge of computer applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Two years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to analyze system operations, determine causes of problems, and take corrective action.
  • Availability for call-in work and willingness to perform other duties as required.
