About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Installation Technician to join our team at Reading Truck. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for the installation of specialty truck equipment, including service utility bodies, stake bodies, dump bodies, hitches, and other commercial truck accessories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow safety protocols and comply with all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
  • Install truck bodies, plows, and commercial truck accessories.
  • Mount hitches, shelves, drawers, ladder racks, mud flaps, and other equipment.
  • Perform basic welding tasks and train with other mechanics as needed.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.
Requirements
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and skills.
  • Basic welding skills, electrical wiring, and hydraulics experience.
  • Ability to operate power hand tools and possess basic tools.
