Job Summary

MacDermott Roofing, Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Flat Roofer to join our repair crew. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for making repairs to commercial and industrial flat roofs, inspecting roofs for repairs, and learning how to use our technology systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lifting and carrying heavy equipment and materials (over 50lbs)
  • Climbing ladders and working at heights
  • Using hand tools and equipment to make repairs
  • Communicating and collaborating with co-workers to ensure seamless operations
  • Consistently learning and developing skills to improve repair techniques and efficiency
  • Carrying out duties as instructed by supervisory staff
  • Helping the team maintain a safe and organized shop area
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of commercial flat roofing repair or installation experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • Ability to use hand tools and equipment
  • Punctual and reliable attendance
  • Quick learner with good communication skills
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials
  • OSHA 10 certification within the last 5 years
  • OSHA Fall Protection training within the last 5 years
