We are seeking an experienced Nurse to join our team at the DMC Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan, a nationally recognized hospital specializing in rehabilitation medicine and research.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse to provide exceptional patient care to individuals recovering from spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, stroke, amputations, orthopedics, and catastrophic injuries.

The ideal candidate will have experience in rehabilitation nursing and be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating patients' progress.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in discharge planning, educating patients and their families on post-hospital care and follow-up appointments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in rehabilitation nursing, preferably in a specialty area such as spinal cord injury or brain injury rehabilitation.
