Medical Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at the Detroit Medical Center. This is a full-time, day shift position with an estimated annual salary of $70,000-$90,000.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing interdisciplinary treatment plans for patients in the inpatient setting. This will involve collaborating with healthcare professionals to facilitate quality care and ensuring patient progress through continuous review of services.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients in collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Conduct regular assessments of patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
- A Master's degree in Social Work, Speech Language Pathology, or related clinical field; or a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, or related clinical field.
- Current licensure, registration, and/or certification as applicable.
- At least three years of clinical experience.
- Case management certification is preferred.
