Physical Therapist Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to become a vital part of our rehabilitation services at Portera Rehabilitation. In this role, you will provide essential therapy services to patients, facilitating their recovery and enhancing their quality of life. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong history of developing effective treatment strategies and inspiring patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing evaluations of patients' physical therapy needs
  • Create individualized Treatment Plans tailored to each patient's requirements
  • Execute treatment protocols and modify them as necessary
  • Accurately document patient progress and outcomes
  • Assess patients' mobility, strength, and functional capabilities
  • Communicate progress updates to patients, their families, and other healthcare providers
  • Support patients with home care services when needed
  • Enhance professional knowledge through continuous education and training
  • Work collaboratively with facility staff to ensure optimal patient care
Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a comprehensive physical therapy setting
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Active Physical Therapy License in the State of Maryland
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
