About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Health Information Specialist I- Onsite to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare data management team, you will be responsible for processing medical record requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information.
  • Work with minimal supervision, responding to changing priorities and role needs.
  • Assist with administrative duties, such as handling faxes, opening mail, and data entry.
  • Meet productivity expectations and adapt to peak seasons when required.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to work with general office equipment.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Detail-oriented and quality-focused in maintaining accurate and compliant medical records.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to requests in a timely manner.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Previous production/metric-based work experience.
  • In-person customer service experience.
