About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team as an Applied Behavior Specialist at In Flight, Inc. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Job Summary

The BCBA Applied Behavior Specialist will be responsible for providing behavior and psychology support services to individuals receiving services from In Flight, Inc. This role requires a strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles, experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, and excellent communication and supervision skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Behavior Support Plans: Develop, implement, and review behavior support plans to address behavioral concerns and promote positive outcomes for individuals.
  • Supervision and Training: Provide ongoing supervision and training to direct support professionals on the implementation of behavior support plans and SCIP-R interventions.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform behavior support plan development and implementation.
  • Treatment Team Collaboration: Collaborate with treatment teams to develop and implement treatment goals and intervention methods.
  • Staff Development: Design and implement data-driven training programs to teach new skills, improve task performance, and boost motivation.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in behavior analysis or a related field.
  • National Board certification in behavior analysis (BCBA).
  • OPWDD approved specialized training or experience in functional assessment techniques and behavior support plan development.
  • 3-5 years of experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, including the development, implementation, and monitoring of behavior support plans.
